Unpopular opinion: the apartment I picked in Lakeview was decided by a guy yelling about pizza at 2am
I was standing outside a spot on Clark Street at 2am during my apartment hunt last October when some guy leaned out a window and yelled that nobody who moves here lasts past one winter. The realtor showed me a place on the third floor with radiator heat and I took it partly because I could hear him yell again the next night, and now I'm heading into my second winter here out of spite. Anyone else pick a place based on a random moment during the tour instead of the actual unit?
