Rented a parking spot in Wrigleyville without checking the snow rules first

I moved to a place near Addison last month and grabbed a cheap spot behind a building, thinking I scored a deal at $150 a month. Two weeks later I got a $200 tow bill because I parked during a snow emergency and blocked the alley entrance. Has anyone else gotten burned by parking rules they didn't know about when moving to a new neighborhood?

Learned that one the hard way too man. Chicago don't play with those snow routes.
