Found out Chicago's winter wind chill record is -57 and I move there in 3 weeks
I was poking around some weather site trying to figure out what coat to buy and saw that Chicago hit -57 with wind chill back in 1985, which is colder than the inside of my freezer. Now I'm sitting here wondering if my Texas wardrobe of hoodies and one scarf is even going to survive October. Anyone who moved from a warm state, what was the one winter item you wish you had bought before your first Chicago January?
