Vent: My resume formatting took a full afternoon to fix after a software update
The margins and fonts got completely scrambled when I switched from Google Docs to Word, and it took me about four hours to get it back to a clean, one-page layout. Has anyone else found a simpler way to keep formatting consistent across different programs?

Totally feel that pain, @seanlee. My cover letter once came out looking like a ransom note after a similar switch.

Yeah, I read somewhere that saving it as a PDF first is the only real way to lock it in. I mean, you still have to fix it in one program, but then you send that file out. It's a pain, but maybe it's just me, I don't trust any word processor to play nice with another one anymore.
