Used to think networking events were a waste until I tracked my contacts 6 months later

I went from zero job leads to three solid interviews just from following up with people I met at a single conference in Chicago last March, and now I actually prep questions before I go in, has anyone else seen a delayed payoff like that?

Oh wow, did you use a specific system to track your follow-ups or just wing it with notes on your phone?

Nah I just wing it honestly, @margaret_williams5, systems always feel like overkill to me...
