Update: I asked for a raise with a one page list of what I do and got 9 grand

Spent 4 months quietly writing down every task I took off my boss's plate, then handed him the list in our Friday 1 on 1 instead of just asking for more money. Anyone else had luck with the written proof approach, or did your manager shut it down?

Wow, I read a study that said workers who list their wins on paper get bigger raises than those who just ask.
