The week I lost 3 job offers over a 2-day gap in my resume

Last March I had three interviews lined up for marketing coordinator roles. I took a short break between jobs to move from Austin to Denver, and that 48-hour gap looked like a red flag to one recruiter. She literally asked if I had been fired for cause because of the tiny overlap. I had to explain that my old gig ended Thursday and my new one started Monday. It made me realize how much hiring teams fixate on timelines. Has anyone else been grilled over small resume gaps that seem harmless?
