Showerthought: Started blocking out time for deep tasks, and my output doubled.
I used to jump between things all day, but now I set two-hour chunks for focus, and it's a game changer.

Two whole hours of just one thing? How do you even stay focused that long without checking your phone?

I was reading Cal Newport's book where he talks about digital minimalism. His whole point is that constant phone checking trains your brain to crave distraction. So he suggests methods from his book, like turning off all non-essential notifications and actually scheduling specific times to look at your phone. It sounds strict but the idea is to rebuild your ability to just sit with a single task.
