Messaged a hiring manager on LinkedIn and got zero reply for 2 weeks

I reached out to a senior recruiter at a Seattle tech company last month about a junior dev role they posted. They viewed my profile but never answered my message about the application timeline. Has anyone here had better luck getting responses through cold emails instead of LinkedIn DMs?

Cold emails get ignored just as hard but at least you save a few clicks. Maybe try carrier pigeon next, recruiters seem to love old school methods. All kidding aside, keep firing off applications until something sticks, that's the only real strategy here.
