Got told my resume was too busy, now I keep it to one page.
A hiring manager in Austin said my two page resume looked like a 'wall of text'. She said pick your top three projects and explain them well. I cut it down to just my work at TechFlow and two freelance gigs. Anyone else get this kind of feedback and what did you cut?

That hiring manager is dead wrong. My two page resume got me my last three jobs. You need to show the full picture, not just a highlight reel. Cutting out good work just makes you look like you haven't done much.

Show the full picture" sounds good in theory, @phoenix_thompson4, but hiring managers are busy. They skim. A tight one page forces you to only show your best work, which is more powerful. A long resume just lets the good stuff get lost.

My one page resume is basically a list of places that fired me.
