Just toured a new build in Austin, everyone raving about pre-terminated fiber

I keep seeing crews swear by pre-terminated runs but in my experience the field-terminated ones hold up way better when that drywall crew drags a ladder across the pull. Anyone else notice more callbacks on the factory ends after a few months of settling?

The whole "pre-terminated equals better" thing gets tossed around a lot, but I've seen the same issue. Those factory ends get finicky after the house shifts, and you're back there with a splice kit before the first year's up. Field terminations are just easier to fix when things go sideways.
