Just realized my old trick for fishing cable through a finished wall still works.

I was on a job in Charlotte last month where the customer wanted a new line run to a bedroom but the wall was packed with insulation. I remembered my trainer from 15 years ago saying to use a piece of stiff wire and a strong magnet from the outside, and it pulled the fish tape right through. What's your go-to method for a tight insulated wall now?

heard about using a vacuum with string, does that actually work?

It worked for me when I had to pull wire through a long wall.
