I finally gave up my crimp connectors for these new push-on coaxial fittings

Swapped out all my standard compression fittings for the push-on style last week after a job in Salem, and I'm never going back. Has anyone else noticed how much faster they make hooking up wall plates?

Well, that's a sign if I ever heard one. I switched over a few months back and the time savings alone made it worth it, especially when you're doing multiple rooms in a house. Feels like those old crimp connectors were just begging for a dropped tool.

Wait, are we really calling dropped tools a sign from the universe now? I've dropped plenty of stuff over the years and it usually just means I'm clumsy that day. Don't get me wrong, I switched over to push connectors a while back too and they're definitely easier on the knees when you're crawling around in attics. But I've also had a couple of those push fittings fail on me in weird spots where a crimp would've held fine. Feels like everything has its tradeoffs, you know?

Dropped a crimp tool on my foot the SAME day I switched over, so I'm calling it a sign from the universe.
