Ditched my fish tape after a job in an old school in Portland
I was running cable through a 1920s school building in Portland last month and the fish tape kept getting stuck in the old plaster and lath. After 45 minutes of fighting it I switched to a glow rod set and finished the whole run in 10 minutes. Has anyone else made the switch and found it works better for older buildings?

Yeah that's a 3 hour attic story martin.felix told me too, but those glow rods really do save time in old lath.

My buddy swore by glow rods after getting stuck in an old attic for three hours.
