Bought a cheap coax stripper from a truck stop and it cost me a whole afternoon.
The blade was dull right out of the package and kept crushing the dielectric instead of cutting cleanly, so I had to redo every single connector on a 12-unit apartment job. Wasted about $80 in labor time just fighting with that junk. What's a good brand that actually holds an edge?

Had the same thing happen... ended up getting a Paladin stripper and it's been solid for years. Blade's still sharp after a ton of use.

What kind of work do you do that keeps the blade sharp for years?

Paladin tools are overhyped and their quality is inconsistent. I've seen plenty of people have issues with blades dulling fast. Brand loyalty just keeps them selling.
