A customer in Dayton told me my cable runs looked like spaghetti
I was finishing a triple play install in this old brick house, feeling good about the signal levels. The homeowner, an older lady, pointed at the bundle behind her TV and said, 'Young man, that looks like a plate of spaghetti my dog wouldn't eat.' She was right, it was a mess of slack. Now I always carry a few extra Velcro straps and take an extra minute to make the lines neat and parallel. Anyone else get called out on their cable dressing?

My old boss used to say a clean install is a happy customer. Got told my work looked like a rat's nest once. Now I zip-tie everything into a tight bundle before I even walk in the door.

My first cable job looked like a spaghetti monster threw up behind the TV. The client actually took a picture and sent it to my manager. I bought a hundred pack of zip ties that afternoon and now I use them on everything, even my kids' toy bins. Does it ever feel like you're fighting a losing battle against cable chaos?

Honestly, the zip tie life is a game changer. But have you ever had a client who just undoes all your work the second you leave? Like they need to plug in a new gadget and just cut every tie instead of unplugging one thing. Makes you wonder if the real battle is with the cables or with people not caring about the system once it's set up.
