A 25 year vet in Boise said my drip loops were too short, and I've been doing them wrong since day one
Had a guy named Ray ride along with me in Boise back in March, and he told me my drip loops were too short to actually shed water. I'd been making them about 4 inches, he said go 8 minimum, and honestly I argued with him at first. Two months later I checked a job I did before his visit, and sure enough there was water sitting right at the box. So what's the call here, are short loops ever fine in dry areas, or did I just get lucky for years?
