Ngl I hit 500 lambs processed in a single shift last Friday and I still don't believe it

Tbh I've been doing this 8 years and my average is around 300-350 on a good day. But last week we had a rush order for a big halal market and I just got into a zone. My saw hand couldn't keep up with me wrapping. 500 is wild. Has anyone else had a random day where everything just clicked way faster than normal?

@miles72 sounds about right - that stuff makes you feel invincible but man does it ruin tomorrow.

Got into a similar zone once back when I was cutting steaks at a wholesale place. Did 450 in a shift and my knife hand felt like it had its own brain that day. It's weird how sometimes your body just syncs up and everything flows without you even thinking about it. Makes me wonder if that's how it works with a lot of stuff - not just butchery but like driving or even typing. You stop trying so hard and suddenly you're twice as fast.
