Went to a shop in Portland last month and saw a mechanic using a pedal wrench to tighten a headset.

I just stood there for like 10 seconds waiting for someone to say something but nobody did, has anyone else run into mechanics who clearly don't know the right tool for the job?

I've noticed this at hardware stores too, people grab random tools instead of asking for help.
