TIL a customer's complaint about my brake bleeds was totally right

He said my bleeds felt 'spongy' after a week, and I realized I was rushing the final step. Now I always let the bike sit for 10 minutes and do a final squeeze check before handing it over. Anyone have a better trick for getting that last stubborn bubble out?

Try tapping the line with a screwdriver.

Yeah, like what derek656 said. I mean it's that old school fix-it move, right? It's wild how often just giving something a good tap actually works. Feels like half of life's problems can be solved by percussive maintenance, idk. Maybe it's just me but I see it everywhere, from a stuck remote to a fussy printer. There's something deeply satisfying about that simple, physical fix before you even think about taking things apart.

Percussive maintenance" is a real thing, but what do you actually tap?
