Thought tubeless was snake oil until my 3rd flat in one ride

I ran tubes for years in Atlanta, figured tubeless was just hype for rich roadies. Then I got three flats in a single 20 mile ride on some gravel paths near the Chattahoochee. Swapped to tubeless after that and haven't had a single puncture stop me in 8 months. Anyone else get converted by a brutal ride like that?

Heard a mechanic once say tubeless is like insurance - you pay a little upfront but it saves you when things go wrong. That three flat ride sounds like a solid conversion story, plenty of people I know had similar breaking points.
