Had a shifter cable snap mid-ride on a busy street in Portland yesterday

That cheap housing liner I used two months ago totally frayed through and left me stranded. Anyone else swear off those no-name cable kits yet or am I just paranoid?

Yep, 70 bucks for a mid-range Jagwire kit and 15 minutes under a streetlight sorted mine for good. Those no-name liners are just asking for trouble on a wet day like yesterday.
