Appreciation post: I just hit 500 brake bleeds on my own workbench

I was cleaning my tools last night and decided to count the marks on my bench leg (you know, the ones you make when you finish a job). I started doing this three years ago after my first real shop job fell through. The number hit 500, which is a lot of sticky hands and careful fluid checks. Has anyone else kept a simple count like this, and did it change how you see your own progress?

Wow, that's a serious pile of progress right there!

It's funny how we all collect these little wins without really seeing them. You only notice the pile when you stop to look back at it. Makes me wonder what else is stacking up quietly in the background. We should probably pay more attention to that.

But what if the pile is mostly junk? Like @aaron884 calls it progress, but half of it is just busy work. Meetings that went nowhere. Emails that solved nothing. Feels like a stack of empty boxes. Looks big from a distance, but there's no real weight to it.
