Update: switched to chip and PIN after a customer at my Portland shop asked why I still swipe
She said her card got skimmed twice at gas stations in a month, and I realized my terminal still let people swipe a $12 coffee. What finally got you to upgrade your reader, and did it slow down your counter?

We got hit with a chargeback after a skimmed card came through our old reader, and that was the end of swiping for us. Chip takes maybe two extra seconds and nobody has complained once.
