Switched from paper statements to digital back in 2015 and it took me years to realize my bank had a free document vault I could have been using
I only figured it out last month when a teller in Portland mentioned it listing off account features, and now I dump all my scanned receipts and tax forms in there instead of hunting through emails for the right attachment.

Wait, they just HAPPEN to mention that during a casual transaction? Are they trained to slip in account features or was this teller just unusually chatty?

OMG yes @angela_grant, the "just casually mentioning" part got me too! I had the exact same thing happen at my local branch last month. I was just depositing a check and the teller suddenly starts talking about some new savings feature I never asked about. It was so weird, like she was reading straight from a script. Now I'm totally suspicious that they're trained to drop these little hints during routine stuff. It felt way too intentional to be just random chit-chat. Honestly, it kind of made me feel like they were trying to pull one over on me or something.
