Shoutout to the local credit union for actually answering the phone in under 2 minutes

Called my big bank yesterday about a dispute and sat on hold 45 minutes, then called the credit union down the street and got a real person in 90 seconds. Has anyone else just ditched the big guys for a smaller bank after one too many holds?

Ngl I used to be one of those people who thought credit unions were just for old folks or people with bad credit. But last year my bank held my rent payment for a week and I about lost my apartment. Switched to a local credit union and now I actually know the teller's name and my loan rates are way better. It's wild how much faster they move on stuff.
