Honestly thought Zelle was just a scam, but now I use it all the time
Ngl, I was super skeptical when my landlord asked me to pay rent through Zelle last year. But after seeing the money show up in his account within 10 minutes twice now, I'm kinda sold. Has anyone else had that moment where a payment app surprised you?

Did you read that article on The Verge about how Zelle processed more money than Venmo last year? Honestly that kinda blew my mind. Tbh I still think the app looks kinda dated and basic, but it works so fast. Ngl I've had friends get hit with those fake Zelle scams where people trick you into sending money, so you gotta be careful who you send to. But for people I know and trust, it's been way more reliable than PayPal for me.

Oh totally. My neighbor actually tried to send me money through Zelle last week and it never went through because I had the wrong email linked. Ended up having to Venmo her cash instead. But yeah the speed thing is real. I hate how long PayPal takes to hit my bank account. Two days minimum. Zelle is basically instant. My mom still uses checks though. She doesn't trust any of it.
