Trying to find that one anime scene with the red umbrella took me three hours

I saw a clip on a forum but they didn't name the show. I remembered the main character had blue hair and it was raining. Started searching by those details. Went through about fifty different series on a streaming site. Finally found it was from an older movie called 'Garden of Words'. Has anyone else gotten stuck on a search like that?

Oh man, I've definitely gone down that rabbit hole before. Once spent an entire evening trying to find a song I only remembered the bassline for. The relief when you finally find it is unreal, totally worth the three hours.

Was it a modern song or something older? I read an article about how our brains store music memories differently than other memories. They said we can hold onto a melody or rhythm for decades, even when we forget the lyrics or the title. That's probably why hunting for a song feels so urgent. You're trying to match a clear feeling in your head with a fuzzy name. The search makes you feel a bit crazy until it clicks. That moment of finding it is like solving a puzzle that's been bothering you all day.

It's a special kind of frustration, isn't it? My trick is to hum the bit I remember into the voice search on my phone. It fails more often than not, but when it works, it's magic. I completely understand that relief @fox.derek mentioned. The hunt makes finding the song feel like a real victory.
