Tbh, my view on anime spoiler culture changed after a funny mistake
Honestly, I used to ignore spoiler tags until a pal accidentally revealed a major plot point and now I swear by them.

My cousin Jake spoiled a movie ending for me last year. I mean, it was an accident, but it totally changed how I talk about shows. I see this at my coffee shop too, where folks will stop themselves before telling news headlines. It's like once you've been on the receiving end, you get why spoiler tags matter. Maybe it's just me, but I notice people being more aware in small talk now. I guess we all learn from those little mistakes.

After my friend spoiled a book, I just ask "how far are you?" like lane.cameron might.

Oh, I just read an article about this... some psychology study said spoilers can actually make people enjoy stories more. But I totally get what you're saying, mia_davis25. Once someone ruins a big moment for you, you start catching yourself before sharing any details.
