Spent 4 hours trying to find a single anime scene from 2006
I was looking for this one scene from an old anime I watched back in 2006. It had a character with blue hair standing on top of a water tower at sunset. I went through 3 different forums and 2 watchmojo lists before I realized it was from 'xxxHOLiC' season 1 episode 18. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon hunting down a specific moment like that?

Oh man, does this hit close to home. I spent a whole weekend once trying to find a specific scene from a 2005 show where a cat was eating ramen at a tiny table. I watched like 200 YouTube clips and asked on three different subreddits before my friend was like "dude, that's from 'Azumanga Daioh' and you've seen it five times." I felt so dumb, like my brain just erased all the context except for that one random image. It's like our memories are just a big junk drawer full of weird anime moments with no labels on them. What's the most random scene you've ever gone digging for?
