Shoutout to subbed fans who actually watch the OP every time
I used to skip the opening song on every anime, no lie. 6 months ago I started letting it play for a show I was binge watching with my wife, just to grab snacks during it. Then I noticed the little story details in the animation, like how the main character's outfit changes each arc. Now I watch the OP on every new series and even rewatch older ones to catch what I missed. It feels slower at first but honestly it sets the mood way better than jumping straight into the episode. Am I the only one who thinks the opening sequence is as important as the actual scenes, or do you still skip it every time?
