Just found out the average anime episode costs 100k+ to make

Was reading a breakdown on Sakugabooru forums last night about production budgets and my jaw dropped. A single 23 minute episode in a typical seasonal anime can run 100k to 300k dollars, and that's before the voice actors and marketing. I always figured the animators got paid okay but turns out most key animators in Tokyo are making less than 30k a year while the studios pocket the streaming deals. Has anyone else looked into the actual salary numbers and felt weird about supporting the industry after that?
