I quit reading online anime reviews before watching a show.

Now I go in blind and my enjoyment has SKYROCKETED. Discussions feel more genuine too.

Yeah, I stopped checking reviews for "86" and went in completely cold. That first big plot twist in like, episode three or four, it absolutely floored me. If I'd read any discussions beforehand, I would have seen it coming a mile away. Now I just watch the first episode of anything that looks cool and decide for myself. It's way more fun when you're not comparing your own feelings to some critic's checklist the whole time.

My buddy had the ending of a huge show ruined by a random tweet before he even started it. He was so mad he stopped reading anything about new seasons until he's finished watching. Going in blind really is the best way to experience stories now.

Blind is best. Like @robinson.james said, going in cold makes twists hit way harder. Who wants to know the ending before it starts? It ruins the whole journey. I swear, spoilers should come with a warning label.
