Found out my favorite studio rushed episode 5 in 3 days

I was digging through some old production notes on Sakugablog and saw that the team behind my beloved show only had 72 hours to finish episode 5 before airing. No wonder the animation looked choppier than usual and the background art kept shifting between scenes. Does anyone else dig into production timelines to explain weird quality dips, or am I just being too nosy about how the sausage gets made?

Found that out the hard way with an OVA I was hyped for, entire flashback sequence had two different character models in the same shot and I couldn't unsee it. Makes me wonder if studios even sleep sometimes, or if they just run on coffee and regret. Still love the show but now I can't watch that episode without checking every background.
