Can we talk about how nobody rewatches a show the way they did in 2016?

I used to rewatch Fullmetal Alchemist every summer back in high school around 2016, and now I just queue up a new seasonal show and forget it by Friday. Does anyone else feel like streaming made us all watch more but remember less, or is it just me?
