Bought the $220 collector's edition of a show I already streamed, the bonus OVA was a 10 minute recap

I finally caved and grabbed the limited edition box set for a series I love. Paid $220 on impulse because the art book looked huge in the promo pics. Turns out the 'exclusive OVA' is just a narrated summary of season one with no new animation. The art book is mostly character sketches I have seen online. I should have waited for a review or unboxing video. Has anyone else dropped serious cash on a box set and felt kind of ripped off by the extras?

My buddy dropped $300 on a deluxe edition and the "bonus" was a lanyard that fell apart in a week. He still brings it up every time we talk about buying merch.
