Blew $150 on a Crunchyroll premium subscription I barely used

I finally caved and got the mega Crunchyroll plan so I could watch simulcasts without ads. Thought I'd be binging Attack on Titan nonstop but I only watched like three episodes in two months. Guess I'm more of a seasonal watcher than I give myself credit for. Anyone else buy a subscription and immediately forget to use it?

Oh man, this is me to a T. Got the big crunchyroll plan back when Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 was airing and I think I watched like four episodes total across three months. My wife still gives me crap about it every time she sees the monthly charge hit our bank account. I kept telling myself I'd catch up on One Piece or finally watch Chainsaw Man but I just never found the time. What really got me was realizing I had the subscription for almost half a year before I finally cancelled it, all that money just evaporating. At least I learned my lesson, now I just stick with the free ad-supported stuff and only subscribe for a month when I know I have a show I'll actually binge.

My brother did the same thing with a gaming subscription, except he forgot to cancel it for a year. He kept saying he'd get back into it after work calmed down (it never did). I still tease him that he paid full price for a library of games he never touched. At least your $150 mistake is a cheap lesson compared to some people I know who have sunk hundreds into gym memberships they never use. That said, I have a stack of unread books on my nightstand that mock me every night, so who am I to judge? We all have our little money pits, I guess.
