Tracked one Facebook ad from March to June and the drop after week 3 scares me
I run ads for a small candle business out of my spare room in Boise. In March I put $400 behind one video ad and watched the numbers every single day in the dashboard. Weeks 1 and 2 were great, about $1.80 per click, then week 3 it jumped to $4.10 and by week 6 it was over $7 with the same creative. I never touched the ad, so I don't get why it went bad on its own. Has this happened to anyone else, and did swapping the creative fix it or just restart the same clock?
Tbh the same thing happened to my sister's jewelry ads and she said swapping the video only reset the clock for like two weeks before it crept back up. What actually helped her was running two versions at once and killing the one that started climbing instead of waiting for it to tank.
