TIL my ROI hit exactly zero after 6 months of running FB ads...
I was always chasing that big number, thinking more spend meant more sales, but hitting zero made me realize my targeting was completely off. Has anyone else had a milestone like that actually teach you something about your strategy?

Zero is a pretty solid number actually. Really makes you focus on what's important. Had my own wake up call when I spent $500 on ads for a product that got two clicks and both of them were just my mom checking to see if I was okay. Nothing teaches you about target audiences like watching your budget evaporate for literally zero results.

$500 for a life lesson about mom clicking your ad? That's a bargain in the school of hard knocks. Could've been worse, you could've bought a billboard.

Wait, you actually thought zero was a solid number? I used to think the same way until I blew my whole monthly ad budget on Etsy and got nothing but mom clicks too... really changed my outlook on the whole thing.
