That one critique about my landing page copy that actually helped

A buddy in the group told me my headlines were too vague and boring, so after 6 months of ignoring him I finally swapped 'quality service' for 'done by noon or you don't pay' and my click rate went up 40% in just 2 weeks, has anyone else had a tiny tweak like that pay off big?

Funny how the obvious stuff is what we miss most, isn't it

Actually, the really obvious stuff is usually the first thing we notice but the last thing we give weight to. Like checking your tire pressure before a long drive - everyone knows you should do it but most people skip it until the light comes on. Same with backing up your phone photos before you drop it in a puddle. We all know the right move in the moment but our brains just decide to save that step for later. So maybe what we're missing isn't the obvious thing itself, but the habit of trusting the simple answer first.
