My Facebook ad spent $200 with zero conversions last week

I set up a retargeting campaign for my small landscaping business in Tucson, targeting people who visited my site but didn't book. After five days and $200 spent, I had 47 clicks but not a single form fill or phone call. I think my landing page is the issue since it just shows services without a clear call to action. Has anyone else dealt with high click costs but no conversions from retargeting?

Agree with @rileyp49 on the landing page being the problem. My buddy runs a handyman biz in Phoenix and he burned through $300 on retargeting with zero calls before he realized his page just listed "services" with no button to actually book anything.

The landing page is probably not the main problem here. Retargeting people who already browsed your site and didn't book means they were never that interested to begin with. Better off putting that $200 into ads targeting new people who actually need landscaping right now.

The landing page is almost always the culprit in situations like this. I've run retargeting for a friend's HVAC company and saw the exact same thing - high clicks, no conversions - until we redid their page. You need one single clear action on that page, not a list of services. Put a big button that says "Book a Free Quote" or "Get a Yard Estimate" right at the top and below every section. Also make sure your phone number is clickable on mobile since a lot of landscaping calls come from people scrolling on their phones. Test it with a small budget before you dump more money in.
