My ad account got flagged on a Tuesday and I still can't figure out if I did the right thing
I was sitting at my kitchen table in Tucson at 11pm last Tuesday when I got the email that my main ad account was flagged for 'unusual activity' and spending froze. I panicked and started deleting campaigns, which in hindsight probably made it look worse to the review team. I ended up filing an appeal with screenshots of my invoices and payment history, and it got cleared after 3 days, but my cost per lead jumped from $8 to $14 for a week. Now I'm arguing with myself about whether the right move was to stay hands off and wait, or to keep tweaking. What do you all do when an account gets flagged, ride it out or start poking at things?
