Just realized most people set their ad budgets wrong on the first of the month
They dump the whole monthly budget in on day one. Saw a client's campaign burn through $2,000 in three days with zero weekend coverage. Anyone else pace their spend weekly instead?

Oh man, that is SO real. I switched to a weekly budget cap after my own disaster last year. It completely stopped the mid-month panic when funds ran dry. Now I can actually adjust based on what days are performing, and it feels way more controlled. Honestly, pacing it out is the only way to make the budget actually work for the whole month.

Reminds me of how people blast their whole paycheck the first week. Same energy, just with ad money lol.

It's like they forget ad money is a finite resource too. You see companies blow their whole quarterly budget on one flashy campaign, then go quiet for months. Isn't that just bad planning, not even excitement?
