Finally saw a clear pattern in our local radio ad data after tracking it for six months
I kept hearing other buyers talk about running the same ad all year, but our station logs showed a huge drop after about eight weeks. We started cycling three different scripts for our client's hardware store, and calls went up by almost 20% in a quarter. It seems like people just tune out the same message after they've heard it too many times. Has anyone else tested ad rotation on a tight local budget and seen it work?

We ran the same ad for our cafe for five months straight. The data from our loyalty app showed a clear drop in new customers after week ten. Switching to two different ads brought those numbers right back up.

Interesting, but we've actually found the opposite with our consistent messaging.

Our agency tested that last year. Fresh creative always beat the old stuff after a few weeks. Might depend on the audience though.
