My experiment with tempo squats revealed a form flaw I'd missed for years

Slowing down the eccentric phase highlighted my knee cave issue. Now I focus on controlling the descent, and my stability has improved dramatically.

What tempo ratio worked best for you? Controlling the descent seems key, but did it affect your overall squat weight at first?

Just realized I've probably been doing half my squats wrong because I rush the descent like I'm late for a bus. My form checklist apparently skipped "knees" and went straight to "grunt loudly.

My friend blew his knee out rushing squats, @ryanw42, so slow the hell down.
