Serious question, why does every build video now have a full kitchen?

I miss the days when a van build was about freedom, not Instagram likes. My first build had a cooler and a sleeping bag, and it was perfect.

Wait, a cooler and a sleeping bag was perfect? I'd go nuts not being able to cook a real meal out there.

Honestly felt the same until I got stuck in rain for a week. Having a tiny stove and a real place to prep food turned a miserable trip into just a long one. Makes a huge difference if you're living in the van more than just weekend trips.

A camp stove lets you cook without a full kitchen.
