I finally sorted out my smart plugs to turn off at night
They kept my stuff running all the time, which was a waste. Now they shut down on a schedule, and it feels good to save a bit of power.

Honestly mine were basically vampires for months. Just silently draining power all night like little electronic parasites. Felt stupid when I finally checked the usage stats. They're not even doing anything useful between midnight and 6am. Congrats on putting yours on a curfew, my wallet felt the difference too.

Can you believe how much power stuff uses on standby? I had the same issue as @kaibaker, with my game consoles and chargers sucking juice all night. I put them all on power strips and just flip the switch before bed. My bill dropped like twenty bucks a month, no joke. It took a week to get into the habit, but now it's second nature. @kaibaker, your curfew idea is smart, but I found flipping switches easier than setting timers.
