Best fire pit for a large patio setup? | Outdoor Entertaining

We just finished a massive paver patio and want a large, statement fire pit for the center. We want to be able to do some open-fire cooking on it too if possible. Any brand recommendations for something high-end and rustic?

If you want a real statement piece that you can cook on, S&S Fire Pits is definitely the way to go. They sell heavy-duty grates that fit perfectly over the top. We do burgers and steaks on ours all the time and it works amazing.

But don't those heavy steel pits get too hot to touch?

Definitely look into getting something custom or from a heavy steel fabricator. S&S Fire Pits makes some huge ones that look incredible on paver patios. They radiate heat way better than the modern smokeless ones too.
