Shoutout to the street sweeper crew for their weirdly calming dawn routine

I always thought the street sweeper that comes through my area at like 5 AM was just a noisy pain, messing with my sleep. But last week, my friend sent me a short video he shot from his balcony of the thing doing its job. It showed the brushes turning in this perfect, slow circle, pushing all the grit and leaves into these tidy piles along the curb. The whole motion was so smooth and repetitive, it just hooked me. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but watching that clip made the whole process look kind of artistic. Now I catch myself peeking out when I hear the hum, just to see the patterns it leaves behind. It turned something I hated into a tiny, satisfying part of my morning. That video really changed how I see the simple stuff around here.

Kinda get it. That slow brush spin does look pretty neat. Never thought I'd say that about a street sweeper.

Ha! So now street sweepers are your morning entertainment? I can see you setting an alarm just to watch the brushes go round. It's funny how a video turns a noisy nuisance into something almost nice. Next thing, you'll be writing poems about the patterns in the dirt.

Maple Avenue's sweeper comes at 5:30 AM every day. I can't believe you'd set an alarm to watch it, let alone write poems. That noise is pure torture, not entertainment.
