Showerthought: A basic calendar app stopped me from missing comebacks
I made a simple shared calendar with my fan group for all K-pop release dates. Now we all get alerts before new music drops. It cut down on my frantic last-minute searching.

Heard some fan accounts run entire shared calendars for this. Makes you wonder why companies don't just send official alerts, right?

I saw one Google Calendar for game updates with over two thousand subscribers. It really is wild that fans do this work for free, stellab82, when the official channels stay quiet. The companies are missing such an easy win.

Totally, my buddy Mark runs a calendar for that fantasy RPG. He spends hours each week checking fan sites and adding patch notes by hand. I mean, the devs could just email everyone, but they don't, so he does it for free. It's kinda crazy how much work fans do when the company stays quiet.
